Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation

This course provides you with the knowledge to recognise the signs of an unconscious casualty and respond appropriately, with an emphasis on performing Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines.

• Students must be at least 14 years of age at the time of attendance.
• Important note: In order to issue an accredited certificate CPR must be performed on the floor with no exemptions.

Statement of Attainment for the nationally recognized unit of competency HLTAID001 from the Health Training Package. First Aid certificates are emailed following each course with an additional wallet-sized plastic card to help keep certification details handy. The certificate is valid for 12 months. Australian Resuscitation Council recommends that cardiopulmonary resuscitation skills are refreshed annually.
