Babies and young children don’t have the ability to effectively communicate how they are feeling. This makes it difficult at times for parents to know how to help.

Practical First Aid for Parents and Carers will give parents the knowledge to recognise and manage the most common childhood accidents and injuries. This is a non-accredited course suitable for parents and carers of young children.

So far I’ve done two courses with Central Coast First Aid Training and even though it’s an hours drive for me I’ll be using them every year for my refresher. The trainers are professional and knowledgeable. Everything from booking in the course to receiving your certificate is streamlined. The training room is stunning and equipped with modern equipment. The first time I did the course I called their booking line in a panic as my cpr expired and I needed to find a class that day. One of the owners (I think) answered the call on her mobile on her way back from a holiday with her family and booked me in. It’s not often you receive service that shocks you in a good way. Thank you!!

Initially the web based training seemed a little confusing but was well presented and easy to understand and follow in the end. Questions at the end were relevant and comprehensive. The in person CPR training was very informative , friendly and efficiently executed. Very well run.

Great experience doing my First Aid course with Central Coast First Aid Training. Easy to book online. Great option to complete the theory learning & assessment online to reduce the face-to-face practical assessment time. Clean, modern, comfortable facility in Erina. Easy parking and access. Brooke was a great First Aid Trainer - relaxed, encouraging, supportive, knowledgeable. Got my certificate on email immediately the day after the practical assessment. I will certainly be back!
